Who can leave a review?
A person describing their own experience of requesting a quote, buying or hiring from the business can submit a rating, comment, experience date and public pseudonym. An enquiry can be reviewed even if no purchase followed. The submission must identify which experience is being reviewed. Email addresses are kept private and are used for moderation; collecting an email address does not verify the author's identity or a purchase.
Fake, rewarded and conflicted reviews
Invented experiences, impersonation, copied reviews, coordinated ratings and reviews written by or for the reviewed business are prohibited. We do not accept reviews submitted in exchange for money, discounts, free goods or other benefits, or reviews by the business's owners, staff, representatives or competitors. These rules apply to positive and negative feedback alike. Do not offer rewards for favourable reviews or for changing or removing criticism.
Pre-publication moderation
Every submission enters a pending queue and does not affect ratings until an authorised moderator publishes it. Before publication the moderator must assess the stated experience, duplicates, conflicts of interest, possible rewards and suspicious patterns. Clarification or proportionate supporting evidence may be requested privately. Unrelated, promotional, abusive or confidential content is not accepted. A negative rating, a company's objection or refusal to pay is not by itself a reason to reject a review. Moderation decisions are recorded.
What publication means
Publication means the review passed our moderation process; it is not a verified-purchase badge, a guarantee that every statement is true or an endorsement of the business. No demonstration review is included in public ratings. Suspected fake or misleading content can be withheld or removed while investigated, regardless of its rating.
How the average is calculated
Our directory rating is the arithmetic mean of its published reviews' ratings, displayed with up to one decimal place. Pending or rejected reviews are not counted. The breakdown by number of stars and the number of reviews are visible. Without a published review, no average rating is displayed.
Ratings from external platforms
Any external rating is shown separately with its platform, source link, review count, scope and recording date. A group rating is not attributed to an individual depot. External scores do not enter our directory average. We remain responsible for deciding whether a snapshot is suitable to publish: an external source does not remove the need to investigate suspected fake or misleading information. Snapshots can change and may be withdrawn.
Order, corrections and removal
Published reviews are ordered by publication date, newest first, with all ratings treated alike. A moderator can remove a review after publication; its score is then excluded from the average. Businesses and authors can report factual errors or dispute a moderation decision through the contact page. Please give the profile URL, review date or identifier and the reason, and keep supporting documents private. A business cannot edit customer reviews through its supplier account.
Report an error or a review
Please state the company, the publication date and the reason for your report via the contact page. Reports are assessed against the same rules for every rating. Do not publish confidential documents in a review.
